McTeacher's Night
McDonald's Charleston to Raise Money for Local Schools
Tuesday, October 28, 2008
5:00 PM - 8:00 PM
All Charleston and Surrounding Area McDonald's
Local schoolteachers and parents will serve up fries and drinks at McDonald's Restaurants in the Charleston area as part of McTeacher's Night. It's a one-night fundraiser designed to raise money for local schools. More than 20 McDonald's restaurants in the Charleston area will participate in McTeacher's Night on October 28.
Schools will receive a portion of the sales between the hours of 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. During that time, school principals, teachers and parents will "work" at the McDonald's restaurant greeting customers, working the registers, serving drinks, and in some cases, assist with the preparation of food, like French Fries. Families of students and other school supporters are encouraged to visit McDonald's and enable the educators to serve them, all while raising money for the school.
